WHERE are WE?

Pine Hills Hockey Club is located at -

James Drysdale Reserve, on the corner of Jinker Track and Bunya Rd, Bunya Qld. 4505

Our Clubhouse - The Sticks and Stones Pavilion - is at the end of Sports Lane, 
first turn right, off Pine Hills Drive, inside the Reserve.

WHERE do we TRAIN?

TURF Teams

Train at Brisbane North Hockey Centre (Burringbar Park) behind Kedron Wavell Services Club, Kittyhawk Drive, Chermside.  

Junior timeslot in 2024 - TUESDAYS or WEDNESDAYS - team timeslots to be confirmed 

Senior timeslot in 2024 - rotating through 7-8pm, 8-9pm, 9-10pm - WEDNESDAYS


GRASS Teams

Train at our Home Field, at the end of Sports Lane, in James Drysdale Reserve, Bunya. 

Enter Reserve on Pine Hills Drive off the Jinker Track - take 1st turn right, into Sports Lane

Generally GRASS training is held in the evening in various timeslots 

Boys - THURSDAY - Note Change of night for 2024

Girls and Women - THURSDAY

Where Do We Play?

Pine Hills Hockey Club Teams play in either  

Brisbane Hockey Association (BHA) competitions - Men and Boys
or
Brisbane Women's Hockey Association (BWHA) competitions - Women and Girls

GIRLS
U9 teams play on Saturday mornings at Rasey Park
U12, U14 and J-Grass teams play on Saturday mornings at Downey Park
U14T and JT4 play on Friday night at various locations on Turf fields 
WOMEN
Grass teams play on Saturday afternoons at Downey Park
Masters play on Monday night at various locations on Turf fields 
Turf teams play on Sunday at various locations on Turf fields 

BOYS
All age groups play on Saturday mornings at various locations
MEN
Turf teams play on Sunday at various locations on Turf fields 
Masters play on Tuesday night at various locations on Turf fields

Hockey Australia Concussion Policy

Player and Participant Welfare 
In considering the management of hockey-related concussion, each Australian Hockey Association (AHO) is committed to protecting the health and welfare of hockey players and participants at all levels. AHOs have a duty of care to provide safe training and playing environments. This policy and its related protocols should be implemented to the fullest extent possible by AHOs. AHOs should also take steps to increase awareness of this policy and its related protocols.
