Pine Hills Hockey Club Was Founded In 1986

From humble beginnings Pine Hills Hockey Club has grown into a strong and diverse club. Starting with just a couple of girls’ teams in 1986, the club now caters for everyone from 5 - 70 years old - boys and girls, men and women, and Masters. The club has teams in both, Brisbane and Brisbane Women's, Association competitions and has produced many Brisbane and Queensland representatives.

We have had some very talented players over the years, and our grassroots approach has worked really well for us.  The club has successfully passed 35 years of ‘sticking together' and the key to longevity is the fact that it is a family club.
With lots of families involved, it means that brothers and sisters, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons — sometimes the whole family — play hockey together.

The club attracts players from all around the district, from as far afield as the Gold Coast and Caboolture, and from Redcliffe to Dayboro.

To maintain the club spirit, as many teams as possible train together and after training at the club grounds there is a sausage sizzle. It is a great way for players to socialise after training and for parents of younger players to meet other parents. It’s a very friendly atmosphere.

To further the bid to keep the family focus alive, the club actively encourages former members to come back and be part of the club by bringing their children along to play. We are now seeing the next generation becoming involved.
Many of our Juniors, now young adults, are taking up coaching and passing on their skills they have gained.

We aim always to take the club forward, but without losing our family atmosphere.
